International™ Holster | Belt, Paddle, Drop Offset Holster | Comp-Tac

The Comp-Tac International™ Holster (w/ modular mount) from High Speed Gear on Vimeo.

We produce products for the most popular make and model pistols, S&W, Glock, Springfield, H&K, Sig Sauer and many more.  Please select your pistol from the Make and Model drop down.

Do you have a red dot optic attached to you firearm for competition? Our International Holster is cut down in the front to fit most Optic Sight and has a .5" tall sight rail to fit most suppressor/optic co-witnessing sights.

The International is an outside the waistband (OWB) holster with a modular mounting design giving the user 16 holster options in 1.  Designed to be worn at 3:00 this holster is perfect for competition shooting, concealed carry or general use.

Key Product Features:

  • All Kydex OWB Holster- Perfect for use in Competitive Shooting Sports
  • (3) Mount Options included- Belt Mount, Paddle Mount, Drop Offset Piece
  • Cant Adjustable
  • Belt Width Adjustable; 1.5" to 2.25"
  • Retention Adjustment- Allows Customer to Tighten or Loose Holster Hold on Firearm

The International’s all-Kydex® body provides a rigid material that is custom fit to each firearm and maintains its shape even with the pistol un-holstered. The smooth, low friction surface allows for a fast draw and easy one-handed re-holstering of the firearm. The all-Kydex® body will not bend or stretch over time and is impervious to sweat and solvents. The raised lettering on the front of the holster specifies the make and model your holster accommodates, so you will never forget what gun it goes with.

Mounting Configurations: The International comes set up as a Belt Holster. The two additional mounting options will be included in the package at no extra charge!

Belt Mount: The Belt mount is the most popular holster among competition shooters, a secure hold that is designed with a curve to fit comfortably on the hip. The Belt Mount will accommodate either belts from 1.5” to 2.25” wide belt. The belt widths can be changed by unscrewing and removing the belt adjustment bar and reinserting it in the correct slot- or removing it complete for the 2.25" belt width.

Paddle Mount: The Paddle Mount is the answer to anyone who wears many different styles of pants. You no longer will have trouble feeding the holster around your belt loops. The paddle slips over the belt and inside the waistband for a comfortable, secure fit that is quick and easy to put on or take off. With vents in the paddle portion this is a cool and comfortable option. The Paddle Mount has a removable tab and is flexible enough to fit 1.5" to 2" belts.

Drop-Offset: Comp-Tac has worked for years on the best way to fit each person’s shape and size. The drop offset is the answer. The Drop-Offset piece is specifically designed to help set the pistol away from the body and drop it to a lower position for a more comfortable draw. Designed with a cross brace to keep stable during the draw, the Drop-Offset is ideal for lady shooters whose waist and hip measurements may make proper holster fit a challenge.

Cant: The holster is designed with 8 mounting holes which allow it to be configured for a straight/speed draw, an FBI cant, or a cross draw rearward cant. Easily changeable, the holster is compatible with many mounting systems offered by other holster manufacturers.

Belt Width: The Belt Mount will accommodate either belts from 1.5” to 2.25” wide belt. The belt widths can be changed by unscrewing and removing the belt adjustment bar and reinserting it in the correct slot- or removing it complete for the 2.25" belt width. The Paddle Mount has a removable tab and is flexible enough to fit 1.5" to 2" belts.

The International holster body is available in multiple colors but the mounting hardware is always black.

NOTE: The “Slide” version allows the user to use one holster for similar guns of different lengths (such as Glock 9mm, .40, and .357). The Slide is typically slightly longer than the shortest gun of the series, and left open so that longer guns may ‘slide’ through the end of the holster.

Slide versions of outside the waistband holsters are recommended for range work only. While carrying a longer firearm in a slide holster the end is left exposed and the user must be careful not to bump the exposed muzzle up against anything that might dislodge the firearm, i.e. sitting down in an arm chair.

    Excellent holster

Great retention holster! The two adjustment screws in the front work effectively to set tension to the preferred level, and the top cutout accommodates optics if you have one (which is a major win) . The initial three hole mounting pattern on the back seemed to be proprietary at first, but the holes are actually slots that are precut to allow some tolerance for mounting to other platforms. I had not problem drilling out the obvious lowest dimple towards the bottom of the holder to make this work with my Safariland QLS 19/22 quick locking system. This holster is NOT compatible with a 5.11/Blade-Tech thigh rig though, which uses 5.11's stupid non-universal hole pattern and is in no way Comp-Tac's problem. Both the stock belt mount and paddle mount that come with the Comp-Tac holster are high quality, and I love that the kit includes an offset mid-ride plate for customization. On the belt mount, the set screw to accommodate different belt widths is truly inspired, much easier than other "retention" bars that are a pain to configure correctly. The only complaint I have is that the lowest female screw fastener on the inside of the holster, no matter which hole you use, is really hard to stabilize with a screw driver when tightening it down because the outside shell of the holster is in the way, and it's an odd angle. I found an angled flathead screwdriver worked ok, but I noticed some stripping of the slot around the edges on the hardware. Not sure how this could be resolved except by maybe using a claw female furniture fastener or something, instead of a slotted head? Other than that, this is a superb holster and I highly recommend it to anyone. It's a great price compared to competitors too.

Perfect fit for my Staccato P Duo. Positive lockup and very smooth draw. The system accommodates upto 2 inch belt, which is what I wear. Most belt attachments go upto 1.75in this is the only one I found that accommodates upto 2 inch wide belts.

    International holster for revolver

Posted by Daniel Spradling on Jun 18th 2020

I bought this holster for a revolver, a Ruger GP100. The holster looks great and the gun fits in perfect. The versatility is very good, belt or paddle mount and offset if you need that. The cant is adjustable. I intend to use this holster for range and competition use and it is great for that, so I am happy, but I would say this is not a holster for concealed carry. The holster holds the entire gun too far away from the body for concealed carry. Maybe the pistol versions might fit closer to the body, but for a revolver, this is not suitable for concealment.
