Gun Belt | Kydex Reinforced | Cut on a Contour | Top Grain Cowhide Leather

The Comp-Tac Kydex Reinforced Contour Belt is belt is designed to be the most durable, comfortable, and stable belt for everyday use, use with concealed carry equipment or use during competition shooting or general range time.

The Kydex Reinforced Contour Belt is made of 100% cowhide leather that is dyed to your choice of black or brown. The black belt comes standard with a nickel buckle and the brown comes standard with brass. Buckles may be changed by the customer to suit their preference.

Holster Support:

The Kydex Reinforced Belt has a strip of Kydex stitched into the layers of leather. to easily support the weight of holsters for both inside carry or on and outside the waistband carry. The Kydex runs the length of belt from the buckle to the start of the holes on the tongue. The Kydex forms to the body while being worn, making it custom fit to your shape. The Kydex also gives the belt extra stability, making carrying a concealed handgun more comfortable and stable.

Belt Features:

The contour of the Kydex Reinforced Belt makes this belt sit comfortably on the hips while eliminating the gap at the back of the belt.

With six holes along the tongue this belt has the most adjustment of any on the market.

Loop Lining and Construction:

As an additional option, the Kydex Reinforced Contour Belt may be ordered with a loop lining sewn in. The lining runs inside of the belt from just off the buckle to just before the holes on the tongue. This makes the belt compatible with our V-clips.

Taper Design:

Our Kydex Reinforced belts may also be ordered with a taper on the front of the belt. The belt is a standard 1.5” width, with the taper portion beginning slightly before the first hole, tapering to 1.25”,and runs the length of the tongue. This can enhance comfort for users who sit for long periods of time by eliminating some material from the front. The taper can also create a “dressier” look.

Please read our belt-sizing instructions!

To ensure an accurate belt measurement, lay your current belt flat on a table:

*If you currently carry an Inside the Waistband Holster and will continue: Measure from the end of the buckle to the hole you use most often. Subtract two inches.

*If you DO NOT carry Inside the Waistband BUT WANT TO START: Measure from the end of the buckle to the hole you use most often. Order that length belt.

*If you carry outside the waistband and will continue to carry outside the waistband: Measure from the end of the buckle to the hole you use the most often. Subtract two inches.

Leather is natural product with unique characteristics that differ from hide to hide. Due to these differences shade and color variations are to be expected. This is not a fault or flaw in leather, Comp-Tac uses genuine natural top grain cow-hide to make all of our Comp-Tac leather products.

I've been thru both 511 tactical leisure and Aker B21 and they both were junk. I'm a big man and needed a carry belt made for a big man and this belt finally met my needs for a carry belt that would support and hold tight in one spot without constantly adjusting. I carry a Colt Defender and lightweight commander with a mag pouch and this belt stays put. I can draw from my Wilson Combat OWB and the belt doesn't move and weapon slides out perfectly and quickly. Well done Comp!

    Awesome idea, needs thicker kydex.

I got three-ish years use out of the belt prior to the kydex cracking near the end of where it's stitched in. Immediately, this causes a soft spot in the belt, and the loss of rigidity in this area causes it to begin to stretch and move around on that side like a regular ninteen dollar belt does. I will likely purchase a direct replacement as the time I have gotten out of this belt is worth the cost, but I honestly expected this product to provide MANY years use.

Soft after 14 months, but still nice

Posted by Jon Tzilos on Aug 27th 2017

I've been wearing this kydex reinforced belt for 14 months now, usually carrying a full-sized pistol, and it's gotten quite soft. I can still carry a 40oz gun IWB without issue, but the belt is no longer stiff enough to carry anything heavier than maybe 25oz comfortably. As I carry IWB 99% of the time this is a non-issue, but I thought it was worth mentioning. I am impressed with now durable it is. This is the only leather belt I've owned that hasn't fallen apart after a few months of heavy use. Kudos to Comp-Tac to making a product that lasts. If you do buy one, Loctite the hardware. The chicago screws on mine fell out after about a week. Not sure why they weren't secured from the factory as nothing's adjustable, but oh well.

I find the fit (as per instructed on web sight) to be a little off. I am loosing weight and had a size 48 belt that no longer worked. I am wearing size 42 pants and when measuring my old belt (per instructions) I got a 44 inch measurement so I took of 2 inches and ordered a 42 belt. Not counting the mistakes made with order I got the size I ordered and could only get it to buckle in the 1st hole and no further. I plan to loose more weight so I did not complain and kept the belt. Would most likely been happier with a 44 and had to punch more holes in it later. Belt is Great and is all it is advertised, but watch what size you order.

Comp-Tac Infidel Ultra Holsters & Belts (Left and Right Versions – Glock 26)

Posted by Guest Customer on Jan 16th 2017

Comp-Tac 1.5” Kydex Reinforced Contour Belt. These belts are nice! The thickest leather belt I have ever owned. I liked them so much, I ordered 2 of them. One size 36 for everyday no carry or one holster (summer dress) and size 38 for 2 holster or one holster (winter dress- long thick underwear). The Comp-Tac holster belt clips are designed for these thicker belts and you will never worry about you holster coming out of your pants during a weapon draw. The belts work great and the black belt looks good with blue jeans.Detailed Review First to help you apply this review to yourself I’m 5’11”, 185lbs, belt size 36 or 38. I have been at this for 30+ years, carried Galco, Safariland, Bianchi, Blackhawk in all shapes and types. I’m not an expert, but it’s not my first rodeo. This being said, I can’t say enough good things about Comp-Tac holsters and the company. I ordered 2 Infidel Ultra Holsters for my Glocks 26’s (left and right holster versions). I wanted as many options as possible. I’m right handed, so wearing the right hand version so the magazine points toward your spine , works OK with the stock Glock 10 round mag. (you better have adjustable lumbar support in your truck seats). However, I did find that the using the left hand version on my right side works much better for me (magazine points to the outer right side of my body, pointed upward due the holster’s cant, this worked perfect, easier for me to draw from too!). Now I’m able to use any of my magazines (10 rounds through 17 rounds mags, even with my Dawson magazine extenders – 22 rounds each!) So with all of these options, I can carry one or 2 Glock 26’s in different positions, with different size magazines if I choose. I know this is overkill, but it’s always nice to have options, although your mileage may vary.Rating-- Holsters 5 stars, Comp-Tac workmanship 5stars, Materials 5 stars, Comp-Tac Customer Service 5 stars, Comp-Tac Return Policy 5 stars

    1 year

I've had my belt about a year and it's been used hard . I've put it through a hard year of wear and while I've about worn it out, it's been a decent belt. I'm sure it would've lasted longer if i had been easier on it. Good belt!

    Best Carry Belt

Posted by John M on Aug 30th 2016

I've had my belt for 8 or 9 years. Been carrying a glock 19 OWB or IWB nearly every day during that time and my belt is still great. It still carries great and still looks great. I wear it to work, I wear it when I carry, I wear it when I'm not carrying. I'm buying another just for the hell of it.

10 years on. Wears like iron.

I have a brown and a black best belts I have ever owned. The only drawback is that the Kydex makes them so strong that it's hard to Feed the belt through the loops of some holsters. It is an amazingly rigid belt but again unless you have large clip for your holster the purpose is defeated because it is too thick. It's an amazing product and it works exceedingly well.
