Gladiator Holster | OWB Concealed Carry Hybrid | Comp-Tac

We produce products for the most popular make and model pistols, S&W, Glock, Springfield, H&K, Sig Sauer and many more.  Please select your pistol from the Make and Model drop down!

The Gladiator is an outside the waistband hybrid holster that provides the comfort of a leather backing with the speed and durability of a Kydex shell.  Designed to be worn behind the hip at 4:00- 5:00, this holster can be used for concealed carry, competition or general use.

The Leather backing is the most comfortable material holsters can be made of. It provides a soft, flexible material that when placed against the body or clothing.

The Kydex Body provides a rigid material that is custom fit to each firearm and maintains its shape even with the pistol un-holstered. The smooth, low friction surface allows for a smooth draw and easy one-handed re-holstering of the firearm. The all-Kydex body will not bend or stretch over time and is impervious to sweat and solvents. The Gladiator Kydex bodies are not interchangeable.

The Gladiator attaches on the outside of the belt with two leather loops that loop around behind the belt and snap in front. These loops will come set to 1.5" from the factory. If the customer wishes the loops can be changed to 1.25" or 1.75" with the use of a phillips head screw driver.

The “Slide” version allows the user to use one holster for similar guns of different lengths (such as Glock 9mm, .40, and .357). The Slide is typically slightly longer than the shortest gun of the series, and left open so that longer guns can ‘slide’ through the end of the holster.

Slide versions of outside the waistband holsters are recommended for range work only. While carrying a longer firearm in a slide holster the end is left exposed and the user must be careful not to bump the exposed muzzle up against anything that might dislodge the firearm, i.e. sitting down in an arm chair.

Not all Models will have the de-bossing (make and model) listed on the outside of the holster.  We are working to update all of our models to have this, it is an ongoing process.

Comp-Tac fit checks EVERY holster with the actual make and model firearm ordered. As a result, the leather backing may show slight wear marks or scratches from the fit process.

Leather is natural product with unique characteristics that differ from hide to hide. Due to these differences shade and color variations are to be expected. This is not a fault or flaw in leather, Comp-Tac uses genuine natural top grain cow-hide to make all of our Comp-Tac leather products.

Warranty: Comp-Tac products are covered under a one year warranty and the 30 NOBS Guarantee. Due to the cosmetic vulnerability of leather, Comp-Tac reserves the right to charge a 20% restocking fee on any leather returns or exchanges that are deemed to be damaged or abused.

Liked the one I got for my Glock 19 so much that I bought another for my M&P 9.

I have four of these for each of my pistols. They are comfortable for all day wear and the grip stays close to my side. I often wear a light covering garment and it hides well. I appreciate the high quality andthe fast and easy off and on. The fit for each pistol is perfect. You'll likelywear out before this holster will. I wish Comp-Tac had been around back in my plain clothes days.

One For Each Of My pistols

Have used these for the last five years. I use Comp=Tac's gun belt as well with these and the grip of the pistol(s) ride close to my body. A loose sport shirt hides the gun well. I've found these to be the most comfortable I've found. The direction of these snaps (opposite of other's) allow for that fast and easy off and on. High quality and attention to detail.

    P227 Solved!

Posted by Guest Customer on Nov 16th 2016

P227 users know that nobody makes a holster for it. I usually don't take time for reviews, but the P220 sized Minotaur (MTAC model now?) fits the P227 perfect. It's really just a P220 upper, so...I have a hamper full of dead holsters that don't work, but the Minotaur does the trick- no printing, no peeking with just a drape shirt. Perfect!I now have the same problem with my Springfield XD mod.2 .45 3.3 i bbl.Only one manuf. makes a holster for it and its very basic. No Minotaur. Well, maybe someday.

works fairly well concealing my Sig P320. I only wish I had the option to order this holster in a straight drop version.

    Minitar holster g-20

Posted by Guest Customer on Apr 9th 2016

I carry a large pistol with extended magazine. The holster is quite concealable, and comfortable for 24 hr carry. I wear it everywhere. One thing is i need the belt loops, they got so stretched out from everyday carry. My gun is printing a bit, but overall the holster is awesome. I allso carry a minitar iwb , belly carry for smaller 2 nd gin g-29 again, awesome, but over time leather will wear get pliable and need to be replaced. I carry at 1 o clock, and one at 4. Awesome company, and gear.

    Awesome and Comfortable

I actually bought this for an officer's size 1911 but ended up using on SA TRP. With some adjusting and letting it sit over night with gun wrapped in wax paper made the fit perfect. I have worn that monster all day very comfortable and even on extended hunts. Highly recommend for all day wear with the ease of on and off.
