Our new Digital Camo Kydex is here! This new Kydex has the pigment of the camouflage pattern injected directly into the Kydex itself rather than being screen printed on the surface. This injection process ensures the highest quality image and a permanent pattern that will not rub or scratch off. This new Kydex is a Comp-Tac exclusive item and can only be purchased at www.Comp-Tac.com!
The injected image of the digital camouflage is impervious to solvents and oils. The pattern will not deteriorate if exposed to the elements or most common household chemicals. When Comp-Tac’s founder Gregg Garrett heard about the permanency of the Kydex’s injection-printed image, he tested it out by spraying the holster down with brake cleaner. His response: “Well, that’s not working. If anything it’s just making the Kydex cleaner.” Comp-Tac representatives also tested this out by exposing the holster to bleach, isopropyl alcohol, and “accidentally” spilling coffee on it to find the same results—the camouflage pattern is indeed permanent.
Faded into the digital camouflage is “Comp-Tac.com” written throughout the pattern. This print is usually not visible outside of a two foot range (there are eight “Comp-Tac.com” images written throughout the Kydex on the Paddle Holster and Single Magazine Pouch in the photo above). This new Kydex option will be available for a wide range of products including our Belt Holster and Paddle Holster. Magazine Pouches, Flashlight Holders, and other accessories will also be available in this pattern.
This new Kydex is considered a custom feature and is thus non-returnable and cannot be exchanged. There is a custom fee associated with the Digital Camo color option that will automatically include the custom fee when added to the shopping cart. I would like a grey kydex for F&N 5.7 have you got one available?
Eric– we currently only offer black, red, and the Digital Camo kydex options. At this point it does not look like we’ll be picking grey Kydex up in the near future. Thanks!

At this point in time the Digital Camo will only be available for OWB holsters and magazine pouches. We use a separate thickness of Kydex for the IWB holsters and did not receive a high enough demand to offer this for IWB models. I’ll record that we got a request for it though. What holster is that in the picture? I cant seem to find one with the three screws on your site.

This is the Paddle Holster for an M&P. The three-screw model is only for the longer pistols that require a third retention screw. This would be most pistols that have a 5 inch barrel length. Will you be offering a woodland-type camouflage pattern at any point, or just the desert camo pattern shown in the picture?

I carry a Sig. S P229 .40 9 in the handle, 1 in the pipe. Love it, “night eyes” sights, no lazer. Heirloom from Dad who was a Deputy Sheriff. Was looking to just drop/snap my Sig .40 into a pre-formed plastic case that I can carry on the “out side” of my belt. I’m Right handed but don’t mind doing a cross if necessary. Wear Hawiian shirts in summer time all the time. Can you comment?
